Shuffle is addictive. I’ve had many students try it just for fun and not wanting to learn anything else.
– Monika Matys
The Melbourne Shuffle emerged at the end of the 80s, and although underground for a long time, now it has a veritable cult of “Shufflers” from all over the world. As electro music gained popularity, the dance moves started to catch on. After Hard Style and Jump Style, Cutting Shapes is the most mainstream and danced almost everywhere in the world.
Running Man, T-step, Charleston, V-step/Heel-Toe are the names of some of the most popular moves you will see in Shuffle and Cutting Shapes but the creativity of these dance styles is endless.
At Get Dance you can learn Shuffle/Cutting Shapes in private one-on-one class setting in Midtown Manhattan and Greenpoint Brooklyn. Small group classes are offered in Midtown Manhattan.
