HOW MANY CLASSES DO I NEED TO BE GOOD AT DANCING?
It depends what you mean by “good” – blending in or standing out? It all depends on how serious you are about improving, how much time you’re willing to spend taking classes and practicing on your own. Generally, if you’re an absolute beginner, after ten classes you’ll know all the basics and you will be able to dance on your own. Where you want to go from there is totally up to you.
DO I HAVE TO TAKE THE 45MIN INTRODUCTORY CLASS FIRST?
No, you don’t. If you start off with a regular, 60minute class you’ll be assessed in exactly the same way as you would be in a 45minute class. It’s all about your time and financial preference.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO CLASS?
Make sure that whatever you wear does not restrict your range of motion. I recommend sweatpants, leggings, jeans and a top for women and sweatpants, jeans and a T-shirt for men. No dress pants, skirts, dresses please. Comfortable shoes are very important. Sneakers are best. No dress shoes, boots, heels or flip flops please. You’ll be allowed to dance barefoot only at your own risk (no arch or ankle support, risk of slipping and injury).
HOW LONG IS THE CLASS?
Standard length is full hour – 60mins. However, longer classes are possible and even recommended if you have a deadline, e.g. an important party / wedding you have to look good at.
DO I HAVE TO SHARE THE STUDIO WHEN I TAKE A PRIVATE CLASS?
No, not here. Private studio is guaranteed for the entire class at any location.
CAN I FILM THE CLASS?
Option of recording the class comes only with a purchase of a package at this moment.
I’D LIKE TO GET MY FRIEND SOME CLASSES FOR HIS BIRTHDAY. HOW CAN I GET YOUR GIFT CARD?

I WOULD LIKE TO INVITE ONE OR TWO FRIENDS TO JOIN MY CLASS. DOES IT COST EXTRA?
No, it doesn’t. Feel free to split the cost of class with up to 2 additional students
WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY?
At the moment I only offer refunds if I cancel the class myself for any reason. Otherwise, I have a strict “no refund” policy. Please plan accordingly. If you notify me early enough, you will get a credit you can use towards future class (please read my Cancelation Policy below).
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELATION POLICY?
I will be happy to reschedule your appointment as long as at least 24 hour notice is provided for my Brooklyn and “at home” classes. For classes in my Midtown studio, please notify by 12pm a day before scheduled appointment to avoid being charged for class.
